根据爱因斯坦的广义相对论,对于处在不同引力场中的观察者而言,时间流逝速率在强引力场中变慢,所以越靠近引力强大的黑洞,时间过得就越慢。引力的本质是时空弯曲,质量越大的天体,其周围的时间和空间被弯曲得越明显,其时间就会过得比远离引力场的地方更慢,这就是广义相对论所说的引力时间膨胀效应。
