所谓pH值就是溶液中H离子浓度的负对数。CuO难溶于水,可以与水中的H+结合,发生下列反应过来:CuO+2H+=H2O+Cu2+。消耗了溶液中的H+,使H+浓度降低,因为PH=-lgC(H+),即氢离子浓度越小,PH值越大。从而达到调节PH的目的。因为CuO只能与H+发生反应,所以CuO只能调节酸性溶液的PH值。
