硫化汞、硫化铜、硫化银、硫化铅等金属硫化物的溶解度非常小,即Ksp非常小,其饱和溶液中硫离子的浓度小于饱和硫化氢溶液中硫离子的浓度,根据离子反应向某离子浓度更小的方向进行的原则,得出这些金属硫化物不能溶于稀硫酸。反过来,硫化氢可以与硫酸铜等盐反应得到金属硫化物沉淀。
