砌体轴心受压破坏特征是从开始加载到出现第一条裂缝,其压力约为破坏时压力的50%~70%。随着压力增加,单块砖内的裂缝不断发展,并沿竖向通过若干皮砖。时产生新的裂缝(图11-5b)。此时,即使压力不再增加,裂缝仍会继续开展。砌体已处于临界破坏状态,其压力约为破坏时压力的80%~90%。
