生理学研究认为,在通常状况下,60至70岁者每日睡眠时间应不少于9到10个小时,70至80岁者每天睡眠时间应不低于10到11个小时,80至90岁的老人每天睡眠时间需保证在11到12个小时。即每上升一个年龄组档次,其睡眠时间递增1个小时为宜。倘若一昼夜睡眠不足,次日应采取午睡的方式补救,以满足老年人睡眠时间的基础生理需要。
