苯和硝基苯混溶,但沸点不同,可用分馏法来分离苯和硝基苯。

分馏实际上就是沸腾汽化的混合物通过分馏柱,并在柱中进行热交换的结果。上升的蒸气中高沸点的物质首先被冷凝下来回到蒸馏瓶中,低沸点的蒸气继续上升,使蒸气通过冷凝装置进行冷却,便冷凝再度获得这一液体,从而使不同沸点的物质得到分离。
